Of the three stories assigned I enjoyed The Little Room the most. Fantasy and science fiction novels have always captured my attention and this story was no different. The mystery behind the little room was captivating and held my attention throughout. Why does the little room appear at times and disappear at other times? I love the way Wynne described the fear shown by Margaret when she witnessed the house without the little room. Wynne allows that same fear to seep into the reader. Why is this happening? Is this house haunted? Since the inhabitants seem to forget all the controversy surrounding the room, are they supernatural or haunted in some way as well? These are just a few things I questioned while reading. Also, I enjoyed how Wynne left the mystery open to interpretation. It's as if the house didn't want two people with conflicting views about the existence of the little room to witness the house at the same time.
